life Michael Vick and Eli Manning were very different paths in December 2007.

Being sentenced in Federal Court to Vick to 23 months in prison for his part in a dogfighting ring. Acquisition makes new York Giants gear to run, which will culminate in a stunning victory over the undefeated New England Patriots Super Bowl MVP award.

Three years later, two former No. 1 overall draft picks will be focal points for Vick and Philadelphia Eagles (9-4) faced by Manning and the Giants (9-4) showdown Sunday for first place in the East of the Federal Constitution.

“We all know of the game,” said Vick. “We know he is fantastic. Where else do you want to be? What other items you want to be? (We) playing against a excellent team, so we’ll have our best. We will need each day this week, as our training and getting to play excellent football game. Upcoming Sunday, he is going to be out of the lights on both sides. ”

If the Eagles win, that will give them a sweep series two games with the Giants and all but clinch title Division.

Giants win makes the last two weeks more fascinating. New York closes with road game at Green Bay (8-5) and Washington (5-8). The Eagles have home games against Minnesota (5-8) and Dallas (4-9), two of the League’s largest disappointment teams this season.

“This is what this League is all about, play more games in December” Giants linebacker Keith Bulluck said. “This is fascinating”.

Although protection tend to solve games, all eyes are going to be Vick and Manning.

Incredible Vick is having season MVP-type and recruiting is a question mark.

After the start of the season, Kevin Kolb reserve, Vick assumed as a starter as a career season. It is cast by 2.513 yards and four touchdowns, 17 interceptions and added another seven TDs rushing. His quarterback rating is tops 104.3 in the Federal Constitution and the second is common to New England Tom Brady.

Top pick in the 2001 seemingly also paid his personal life and even talking to own a dog again.

The crew, who will make his 101-row start was questionable. No. 1 pick in the 2004 threw 3.169 yards and 24 touchdown passes. He also threw a League high 19 interceptions, including three lost 27-17 in Philadelphia on November 21.

“These are the situations you want to be,” said Manning. “You want to play these types of games in December, and we should be glad. We have a fantastic week of practice and prepare. We know these guys so much, just comes down to Sunday prepared for all their views and going out there and play smart football.

Giants haven’t played smart or well against the Eagles in the past two years. In losing them in the fifth straight time last month, New York passed ball five times.

Nevertheless, they have a chance to win. They had to go LeSean McCoy when passed a pitch to Vick after he bobbled snap-on fourth-and-1 adventure and scored on a 50-yard run 17-16 lead to less than 5 minutes.

New York had a chance to tie, but Manning lost fumble when he dived for a first down instead of slipping.

Giants running back Brendan Jacobs said speed difference against Philadelphia.

Jacobs said that “there is no doubt in our minds.” “It’s different commands. When we roll the ball and have no penalty, we can beat anyone. This is a excellent football team we play against and if you give them an advantage they intend to use it.

With Vick works show the Eagles have become the most powerful crime (measured yards) in the League. DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin provide deep threats and doesn’t Mac can run only, but its 70 techniques bring all the running backs.

Philadelphia limited giants to 208 meters of crime at the last meeting, the current game up to 65 meters at 19.

“They are closed,” guard Chris Snee Giants said. “They won this battle, they won the game. We must do much better and so we keep Vick off the field. ”

After losing to Philadelphia, Giants off three straight WINS winded. Constant in this jerk was running games. Jacobs, replace the affected Ahmad Bradshaw as fumble starter and line got its act together, on the left tackle David Diehl, returning to the lineup on Sunday evening at 21-3 victory over Minnesota in Detroit.

New York has rushed to 197 and 213 yards in the last two games, Jacobs and Bradshaw as covering over 100 yards last week.

The Eagles also going to major changes in the central part of their defense: Middle linebacker, Stewart Bradley, dislocated right elbow and rookie Jamar Chaney replaced it.

“Running game is pretty amusing,” said Darryl TAPP Eagles defensive end. “They have two capable back. So it really is something we have to focus on, but you really cannot shirk player defence as skipping goes. Even if they do not have their starters, games over the past few weeks, you don’t know when these guys are returned. And you guys know that they have signed, they signed up for a reason. They get the job, too. ”

New York has its own problems of injury. Steve Smith, who set a team record with 107 catches last season, hurt his left knee Friday night and he was plotting a season ending surgery.

Start and Mario Manningham Hakeem Nicks, but Manningham hurt his hip against the Vikings, and its status is likely to be resolved before the game. Derek Hagan and tight end Kevin Boss will be questioned to pick up the slack.

The key for the Giants will contain Vick. New York is limited by its 258 yards passing and no touchdowns in the first meeting, the Eagles one Touchdown and four field goals in five visits red zone.

New York defense did an outstanding job to force Vick to roll his rights of left-handers throw through his body.

“Even if it makes the plays” Giants defensive end Justin Tuck said. «Guy like Vick you’ll have to get lucky, much luck comes from playing hard and that’s what we’re going to do. ”

Expect the same from Vick. He spent a year and a half in prison waiting for a chance to get back on the field and win again.
