Motorola Xoom tablet in Europe with 3G and Wi-Fi versions

    By admin | March 1, 2011

Excellent news, Motorola XOOM tablet will do it for a launch in Europe, after all. This was announced today at the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona.

Previously, XOOM expected, only in the U.S., but now we know that will be available in the Ancient Continent, as well as from Q2 2011. You have the choice of models - 3G + Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi version that best suits your needs. This is not the only device from Motorola that was announced to glide over the Atlantic, Motorola today. The Motorola Pro (Droid Pro) goes to Europe, too.

We already have a place to walk through the features and specifications of Motorola XOOM, so we invite you to take a look there too.
Prices and availability of the region are not yet clear, but I suspect it will not take long to find out.

The XOOM Motorola packs a serious punch under the hood and there is nearly an application for Android that require more. But this does not prevent the hacking community to try to squeeze every last drop of performance from the Cortex-A9 CPU dual-core (you know, just in case).
We just received news that a member of XDA-developers forum has successfully managed to increase the clock speed of 1.5 GHz with a core of some modifications. And it’s not see-what-you-have-in this case kind of deal – you can follow a brief tutorial and get the extra power in its own XOOM.

Of course, you have to open the boot loader (thanks for that, Moto) and following her first tablet, but how-to guides on these two are also available. And with reference results after overload in 3100 surpassing the Quadrant and 47 MFLOPS in Linpack might be worth
Just do not do anything stupid and do not start with piracy if you know what you are doing.
